Our customer needed an all in one sat nav, ipod and bluetooth solution for his Ducato based mobile home and quickly selected Zenec’s ZE-NC520 as it did all he wanted and came in at about half the price of a BIG BRAND NAME system.
Security wise he wanted a step up from the standard factory immobiliser and remote central locking so we added Cobra’s Thatcham Category 2-1 upgrade CAN-BUS alarm, the A4405. This simple to use system works off the original key fob, so no extra bulky fobs need to go on the key ring and had an Infrasonic sensor added to the standard Ultrasonic sensors to protect the living area of the vehicle as well as the cab.

Those people who are lucky enough to own a iPhone 3GS. Please be aware that the new iPhone firmware 3.1.2 and3.1.3 are known to have issues with almost all of the iPod / iPhone accessories and Bluetooth handsfree kits on the planet.
The advice from Car Audio Centre is do not upgrade your iPhone 3GS firmware. If you have already have upgraded your iPhone 3Gs to the new firmware. You are out of luck as Apple taken steps to prevent people downgrade the firmware. And we are very sorry that we cannot provide any assistance. You just have to pray that Apple will release a fix soon, but knowing Apple. They probably will not fix it until firmware version 4.X is released.
Alpine iDA-X305S Pandora Internet Radio Ready Digital Media Receiver
Besides adding an “S” to the end of its model name, the new iDA-X305S is a real evolution of the previous model, adding Pandora Internet Radio support to the mix.
The iDA-X305S is able to control the Pandora app on a connected iPhone 3G or 3GS, streaming your user-created radio stations over a 3G data connection and out of your vehicle’s speakers. Users should be able to log in and access all of the Pandora app’s functions using the X305S’ 2.2-inch color display and double-action rotary encoder knob, including viewing album artwork and tracking metadata, changing stations, skipping tracks, giving a song the thumbs up and down, and bookmarking songs for later access.
iPhone users who are also Pandora users will be able to get a taste of Internet radio during their commutes when the Alpine iDA-X305S is released on 24th March 2010. Users can simply connect their iPhone via USB socket and the iDA-X305S plays Pandora stations from the app – simple as that.
Alpine also designed the iDA-X305S to make it easy to use an iPod in your car. The big jog dial in the middle works just like an iPod’s click wheel. Turn it a little to access Search mode, then scroll line-by-line. Turn and hold the knob to move to Alphabet Search mode – now you can scroll through the alphabet to blaze through your lists of artists, albums, or songs.
Craig a very good customer recently purchased a Sony CDX-GT24 of us and was so impressed with the fitting service we offered came in today asking if we could fit him in to have an AV System fitted to his VW Passat.
We fitted a pair of InPhase IVM7PK-GREY Headrest with an InPhase IVM-DVD Player and Supplied 2x IVMH Dual Channel IR Headphones total cost £380.00 fitted
We mounted the IVM-DVD into the boot which was fastened up to the body of the vehicle.

Here we are, doing it again, fitting a double din in car that everyone else will say its not possible to do!
Our customer had imported his own double din sat nav and AV system without checking it would easily fit his car! He went to various car audio shops in the Midlands to see if anyone would fit it for him and as we were the only ones with enough confidence and ability to say “Yes” so he booked the car in.
We discusssed how he wanted the job doing and it became apparent that cost was a major issue for him, so our prefered method; a fibre glass panel, was ruled out. The only other option was a modified facia panel and MDF/Leatherette-the fitting time is considerabley less which has a knock on effect on the charge. Check out the pictures below, we’d have liked to put more time(money) into it to perfect the finish-nethertheless our customer was delighted with his installation:)

Labour Extra 2hrs over our standard fitting time. Going for the proper fibre-glassed panel would push this to 5 or 6 hours labour-but offer a far superior finish.
Ellie came in looking to improve the bass in her little Peugeot 107. As its her 1st car she wanted something special and her love all things pink led her straight to our range of pink products from Inphase. Within a few minutes she’d decided on the compact, but powerful, XTP208. She teamed this up with the PA1200 amplifier for a powerful combination that’d really get the 107 moving!
Still some room for some shopping-even with this tiny boot!
The Peugeot 206 has notoriously shallow speaker appertures, making the fitting of high quality speakers a bit of a problem-until Inphase released the SXT range. Incorporating rare earth neodymium magnets these speakers are a fraction of the mounting depth of their compatriots as neodymium is 17 times as strong as conventional ferrite magnets allowing for a smaller motor structure but the same power!

Paul contacted me about his UK RX8, wanting an all in one Navigation, ipod and bluetooth solution. He’d tried other car audio stores and been told it wasn’t possible-due to his UK spec “automatic” climate control.
We never like to be “beaten” by a car so I quickly sourced a suitable dash panel for it-not quite as easy a job as I thought-but an easy job is never as rewarding!
Paul had seen the Pioneer AVIC-F900BT on our site and after a quick chat it was decided it’d be the right machine for the job as not only did it do everything he needed it’s stylish piano black finish matched his dash perfectly!
