Here we have a Pioneer Avh-p3100dvd Double Din DVD, Fitted to a Toyota Celica Gen7, now these cars are very nice to work on(as are most jap cars) certain double din radios can look very aftermarket, so we chose the Pioneer AVH-P3100dvd as it has a flat front so recesses nicely into the Celica Dashboard, to fit this we used no accessories as the early Gen7 celica have iso connection and the standard fit double din sony radio donates its surround to ensure a lovely snug fit, Call Stuart or Shane for more info on 0116 2831358

Isaac came down to Car Audio Centre Birmingham with a desire for big bass from a small space: the boot of a Mini Cooper S. He’d been down to various car stero shops, they’d taken out a double 12″ box, tried it in the boot and said “No, not possible, you can fit a double 10″ in there”
Fortunately Isaac didn’t give up and came in to see us. I have a Mini myself and thought it’d be possible-just-so started designing a box for him. I use specialist software that allows me to input the Thiele Small specifications (a speakers equivalent to arm/shoulder/chest/waist measurements) and properly design a box-the programme produces graphs showing the output and how it affected by changes in the box design.
Isaac had already chosen the Juice JA1800d to drive the Alpine SWR-1242D which was lucky as it was the only amp we did with enough grunt to do th job and a small enough chasis to fit it on top of the box, below the parcel shelf. The fit is so good that you can’t even see the amp under the the parcel shelf!
A tight fit, but for maximum bass without losing the back seats this is the solution!

Car Audio Centre Leicester Recently had a customer with a Mitsubishi L200 Warrier who needed a Motorised screen with the capability of taking iPod, Bluetooth and Sat Nav, The problem we faced was the fact that the Mitsubishi Warrior L200 has a unusually shaped dashboard that sticks out above the radio slot so fitting most screens is impossible as you would not be able to fully open the screen, we got round this problem by fitting the fantastic new kenwood kvt526 which has a screen that can be adjusted for angle as well as depth, Check out the pics below.

New BMW X5 custom built Alpine TME-780 and Alpine DHA-S690 Installation

BMW’s new X5 has “airbag” head rests, making convential installation of screens into the headreasts impossible. However Car Audio Centre know’s not the meaning of “impossible” and jumped at the opportunity to do this custom insatllation.
Alpine’s TME-780 screens were chosen for their impeccible picture quality, sleek design and built in Infra Red Transmitters. We could have selected the slightly smaller Alpine TME-680’s to make our lives a little easier-but as we were custom builting the headrests we thought we’d go all out and fit the 7″ screens.
To add to our difficulties our customer required the car back in one day, which simply wasn’t possible-the headrests would take a day alone to build and then need trimming. We ellected to complete the installation on two days, fitting the equipment into the car so our customer could enjoy a trip to Ireland and we could build the hearests in the interim. The BMW leather proved hard to match and would require the importing of a full hide at great expense from Germany, so the customer ellected to go for a contrasting black leather, which matched his lower seat back perfectly.

Screens temporally fitted to headrests-a weeks driving around Ireland without entertainment for a 4yr old would seem like a months driving! These were just velcro’d on to allow quick stowage of screens fro security.
