Nissan 350z Original sub removal
23 February, 2010 – 6:43 pmWe did a nissan 350z not long ago unfortunately didn’t have time to take pictures as the job came in at 3 and it needed a kenwood KACX4D fitting and the original bose amp, and head-unit removing. we fitted a pioneer AVHP4100DVD in there before which was posted also showing how to use the original amp with an after market stereo.
now he wants to improve his bass in the car the original subwoofer is behind the drivers seat and that’s the way we want to keep it, at-least to passers by it looks all original as he doesn’t want to attract attention to the car.

once all the trims are removed this is what you will see there are about 20 10mm bolts holding in the woofer plate

once these bolts are removed you will see there is a large space behind this which you could custom build a box into but it would be too small and we want to use all the space we have to get the most out of the woofer so we built a baffle board for the sub to sit on which would just bolt straight in the original place

and the sub in the board all wired up and pumping some bass

looks sweat and sound mint just we dint have a black sub in but once its covered with the OEM panel you wont see it!
