Alpine Electronics have developed the new KCE-415i iPod Video Interface so you can watch your video files and control the main iPod Video features directly from an Alpine Multimedia station or overhead monitor (so long as your video files are arranged in playlists)Your iPod’s battery will also be charged whilst connected to the interface and will be switched on and off with the ignition. You can choose from either Composite or S-Video output and to start it you just press "play" on the monitor or use the remote. The remote also allows you to search for playlists.
N.B: The iPod Video should still be installed visible in the car to see the menu during use and for audio navigation (the Alpine display will only show video file playback, not audio menu)
