Choosing a stereo can be hard! There are so many on the market to choose from, offering all kinds of features from Bluetooth, USB and even IPOD control. Not many stereo’s offer all of these features in one unit, Kenwood do!
The KDC-BT92SD is one of the highest rated units I have seen in a long time, it’s very simple to use offering a scroll and click button system which is far easier to use than most of the current units with their multi-function volume wheel!

The features are never ending offering everything from Bluetooth, USB, iPod, iPad, iPhone control direct, SD for audio and loads more features. Most units require special iPod leads to get the full benefits from the control, with this one you don’t! I still recommend anyone using this system for iPod control to use a good quality audio cable to get the most from the sound, using your original iPod cable is perfectly acceptable but you will only get limited audio quality due to these cables only being designed for charging and the transfer of data not audio.
Playing your audio in a high quality system has never been so easy with a built in 24 bit DAC that not only works on your CD but also one of the only units that also works with the iPod, USB and SD card so no matter where your audio is stored it can be played in the highest of qualities. Now for the audio side of things, this unit has so many audio settings to play with your choices are endless, with 3 set of 4Volt line outs, high and low pass filters built in that can be adjusted in increments of 10hz and selectable crossover slopes of 6db – 12db – 18db and 24db allowing for a smooth or sharp cut off points. Time alignment is also adjustable in CM measurements to allow for an easier setup.

Parrot Bluetooth 3.0 hands free and A2DP streaming format, will work with almost any phone on the market even the latest iPhone 5 and Samsung’s! The large display on the stereo will allow you to scroll through your phone book contacts from 5 different phones 600 contacts and also dialled, missed and received calls. With the latest Bluetooth Technology built in you can now pair one phone to use a hands free device and a second phone to use as a audio streaming device! A2DP audio streaming works very well allowing you to play music from your phone directly to the stereo without connecting directly, not all phones allow A2DP audio streaming to work fully, some phones will allow the transfer of music and some control like changing track from the stereo some will only offer the streaming of music and no control other than volume.
