Vacancy: Nottingham Store - Store Manager
Car Audio Centre is the largest and fastest growing independent in car entertainment retailer. Established within the UK for over twenty years, Car Audio Centre has five high profile stores nationwide, with many more opening across the Country soon.
Applications are invited for the position of Store Manager.
We are looking to recruit an experienced, hands on manager, for our busy Nottingham store. Located on the busy Radford Road, the store boast a 1000 Sq foot, air conditioned, showroom and excellent workshop facilities. This exciting appointment will require a dedicated and ambitious individual to meet the various challenges associated with a senior post.
You will be expected to meet sales targets initiated by the Director of Sales & Marketing whilst maintaining the established, high standards of Car Audio Centre. You will be required to display a high level of integrity, innovation with an outstanding customer value provision.
Your Role will include:
· Front facing Sales
· Managing and motivating other team members
· Maintaining and improving existing sales figures
· Introducing new ideas for merchandising the store
You must be able to demonstrate
· A proven track record in retail sales (Essential)
· A proven history of sales target achievement (Essential)
· Minimum 3 years direct sales experience (Essential)
· An outgoing, ambitious and confident approach (Essential)
· An analytical understanding (Essential)
· A knowledge of the Electrical industry (Preferable)
Formal sales training is preferred, but not essential
Full and extensive training will be provided and the successful candidate will be required to spend an induction period of ten days within our Head Office based in Nottingham.

Vacancy: Nottingham Store - Car Audio Fitter
In Car Entertainment installer required to work in our busy Nottingham store, as part of an energetic and enthusiastic team.
Candidates will be required to work 6 days a week which must include a minimum of two Sunday per month.
The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience within the car audio industry, being able to demonstrate that they can work on multi amps installations, installation of Audio Visual equipment, hands free kits and security systems.
Working along side management and sales, you will be expected to have input to the future sales and marketing of the store. Training is available up to VSIB Accreditation, and you will be expected to attend training sessions and Manufacturer’s new product launches.
This is a new post that offers the opportunity to join an exciting and ambitious Company, expanding throughout the UK

Vacancy: Head Office - Customer Support Advisor
Hours: Monday - Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm
The role of the Customer Support Advisor is to provide excellent customer support via phone, e-mail, letter and the internal electronic system. The main objective of those in the position is to maintain effective support and a satisfied customer service. Personal and group objectives include meeting STATS that have been set by the Customer Support Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide the highest level of Customer Support via phone, e-mail, letter and the internal electronic system
- Answer customer service calls and sales calls
- Respond to all customer correspondence
- Take steps to resolve customer queries and complaints by contacting internal departments as well as couriers and suppliers
- Deal with complaint emails and letters
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public
- The ideal candidate will be IT literate and have excellent communication skills
Previous customer service experience is desirable.
