rating: review by: Jason | The head unit itself looks the business and is very, very stylish. It is easy to use, with smooth and complete control, especially with the remote! But its not all about looks right? What other features does it have? Well me being an avid Ipod user bought the CD-IU50 alongside the unit to enable full Ipod control. It works just like my Ipod on the unit and I have control over song/album selection! Top notch, everything I need! I've hooked the stereo up to some XTC52s and together they form a formidable partnership producing some sweet sounding, high quality tunes. I can't fault either product and the sound front! Furthermore, I'm also looking at upgrading it to a bluetooth unit with the CD-BTB200 but havent yet got around to purchasing this addition! Overall, IMO, the DEH-P6000UB is a great acquisition! Its reasonably priced for a head unit with such features but also has the option to upgrade it to a far superior unit which I fully intend to do when I have the disposable income! | |

rating: review by: dubman | I've always bought pioneer stuff, because I reckon it's the best available for reasonable money. This head unit is no different! I like the fact that the output is naturally quite bass-intensive, [i've installed it in a van] and the ipod control is just as easy as using the 'pod itself. The joystick/rotary control takes a bit of getting used to, but once you realise that you can puch it sideways then things are a lot more straightforward. All in i'd give this 10 out of 10. Stoked! The only thing not included is an ipod lead - the same as you would use to connect the ipod to your PC, but all other leads etc are there. | |
