Valentine’s day gift ideas

Valentines day (2)

Valentine’s day is almost upon us, and we know how difficult it can be to come up with ideas for your loved one. We’ve created a gift guide for you including DIY gifts, cheap and even expensive gifts if you’re feeling generous.

DIY gifts

DIY gifts are a perfect way for you to keep the cost down and to show how much the other person means to you.

One of the cheapest gift idea is to create a coupon book with little gestures you can do, such as making breakfast in bed, or to clean your loved one’s car, including hoovering the inside. There are plenty of other ideas that you can add; it’s just making them personal to your relationship.

Another gift idea that won’t cost you a fortune is to create a small gift box. This can include:

  • Chocolates
  • Shower gels
  • Bath bombs
  • Any little items they like

You don’t have to buy all of these gifts from the shops, there are tutorials online for you to follow and make them yourself, if you’re feeling extra creative.

If your special someone loves baking, then you can create them a chocolate brownie making kit. They’re simple to make and look like you’ve spent a lot of money buying them from a shop.

All you will need is a nice container and dry brownie ingredients. To create the kit all you need to do is put the dry ingredients into the container. You can either just put everything in at once or put each set of ingredients in layers.

You can also do this with different recipes or even with hot chocolate.

If you are wanting to create simple DIYs for the home then customising mugs with Sharpies or dipping the bottom of glasses in copper, can make something so simple look like it is worth 10 times more then what it is.

Expensive gifts

If you are looking to splurge then there are plenty of gifts you can purchase. From fine jewellery to a car stereo. Or, why not take a trip somewhere together, or buy tickets to a show?

If you’re not one for making a big deal out of Valentine’s day then you can always just get your loved one a card, just a little something to show you care.

Sharing is caring!
