These speakers sound a million dollars when hooked up to V-Power amp. I highly recommend these as the sound quality is amazing for the money!

      Hi there

      Two questions if I may.

First, what are the key differences between the SPS and the SPG series of Alpine 6x9s?

Second, will this 2 way speaker still deliver strong mid-range?

hi there, the difference is the ranges that alpine offer the SPS series is suited for marine purpose ( so used in boats or bathroom for example. the spg range is the mid range speaker alpine offer in there lines. they will deliver pretty strong mid range similar to most 6x9 speaker.

Thanks for information, but still I would like to stay with Alpine so maybe i should take then SPS-69C3 its also 3-way speakers ? or maybe do you have other suggestion from Alpine series ? Thanks.

      Hi There,

With a two way speaker, you will get more bass. However, with a three way speaker, you will get more vocal and treble as well as clarity. As speaker choice is very personal it would either be sps-69c3 or c2 dependant if you wanted more bass or clarity. They are equally good speakers.

      Car: Honda Prelude - <1998

Hello , I would like to know are these speakers would be good with car stereo alpine CDE-183 BT ? , and do I need amp for this speakers ? Thanks.

speaker choice is very personal preferance, i personally would't go for these i'd get the xtc 69.3 because they have a 3way set up but its up to you really
you could run these off the stereo or put an amp to them, they will work fine either way, an amp will give you more volume and clarity but it costs more to do and you have to be careful not to put too much power to them as you could blow them

      hope this helps
