Would this kit be all I need to replace an RCD500 with a Sony XAV-AX3005DB? Would the factory mic, steering wheel controls and MFD still work?

yes this is the correct fitting kit for the sony double din, the steering controls will still work and the MDF will work, you wont get radio information on the mfd but the other trip computer information will remain.

the factory microphone wont work with the sony you would have to fit the sony microphone
