Hi I really like this product it’s highly responsive and looks really nice in my car. Is there anyway i could add a sat nav app to it?
Love it

Fits neatly in my 2007 MX5 with the Connects2 CT24MZ08 double/single din fascia. Looks like it belongs.
I like that the unit is very customisable. I can change the side-panel button colours, rearrange the apps onscreen and change the background picture or colour.
The touch-screen is responsive and the layout intuitive. I've set the screen to it's brightest with no dimming. It's not brilliant when the roof's down, but I haven't seen any that are! Great with the roof up.
The USB connector for my thumb drive comes from the back of the unit, so I've put it in the glove box rather than mount it. It's not something I want to turn into a feature.
Bluetooth connection is reliable and even works if my Samsung Galaxy S7 is in the boot.
Microphone setting defaults to -4 bizarrely, but once I increased the level to the highest +10 it worked really well. No idea how it'll be with the roof down, but it is in a sheltered spot under the instrument cowl.
DAB radio works great with the DABA1 stick-on aerial. No setting up in menu, it just works.
I added a £17 reversing camera bought elsewhere. Made sure the menu was set to switch automatically to camera view when reverse gear is engaged and it works great.
Album art works, but you need to have been selective in your CD ripping. iTunes and Windows Media Player use formats that other software programs don't recognise. Even converting the ID3 tags in iTunes doesn't help. I tried adding the album art later using MediaMonkey but it didn't work so I'm slowly re-ripping my collection. CDex can handle the ripping but you still need another program capable of adding the album art so I decided to use free MediaMonkey for the whole process.
Really happy I chose this unit after tons of research. Wouldn't swap it.
Suits me Sir!

Well mine (bought from a local retail outlet but mentioned here out of a desire to clear up this apparent misunderstanding by the other reviewer) works perfectly with the external GPS nav device, though it did once send me along a bridle path that wasn't marked as such, fortunately the horses and their riders understood and were very nice about it - but any GPS nav system can do this!
For me though, the usp is just how good its DAB/DAB+ reception is, even at my home location where a domestic DAB set is no use and where the factory fit set in the MK7 Golf that I owned for two years before VW finally bought the hopeless thing back and I, seeing sense at last, bought a 12 year old used Toyota, into which I fitted the DDX4017DAB and even though it's sharing the car's original pillar aerial between the analogue bands and the DAB, by means of an amplified splitter (set the Kenwood to match this arrangement, it's easy and failing to do so will mean that reception is understandably poor), the set found many stations on both the national ensembles and a few locals that according to the coverage map I shouldn't have! Furthermore, the DAB signal gets through in a great many places where the Golf's factory DAB reception dropped out entirely. Music from my Android phone (LG H850/G5) as well as other devices connected via the supplied 1.5 Amp leadout which is compatible with quick charging so keeps the handset going even when it's in use, plays back fine and it's good that FLAC files can be played from USB, though in spite of the manual's suggesting that FLAC at higher rates than 44.1KHz won't play, I've only found a glitch when attempting to play the 2017 re-release of Blondie's "Parallel Lines", which I bought in its 192KHz, 24 bit format & even then the glitch was very occasional and would suggest that the Kenwood is more capable than is claimed in the book.
I like it enormously, the sound quality is at least as good as that of a great many more expensive sets (I know, I drove the dealer to distraction by auditioning at least a dozen..) and being a Kenwood, it will be easy to have it serviced or repaired should it need any future attention.
Give it a go, this device is exceptionally good value.
