Phoenix Gold know how to make a good subwoofer. They have been doing this nearly 30 years.

The TI3 subs do not require a lot of power to get a good sound. They only requires 1000W RMS - 1200W RMS. Which isn't a lot for the bass output you get.

Dual Voice Coils
The DVC allow expansive installation options. You can add multiple subs easily with this wiring config.

High Power
Above average power output of upto 1200W RMS allows big bass output without blowing your windshields off. 1000w to 1200w RMS is the optimal power range for any Ti3X subwoofer. In a sealed or vented enclosure, the woofer will play to its full potential with very high reliability.

Other points to consider!

Powering an Ti3X woofer with more than 1200w RMS will create excess heat in the motor and voice coil with minimal additional output.

Contrary to popular car audio myths, subwoofers do not need as much power as you think.

A well engineered subwoofer such as the Ti3X that has the proper balance of efficiency, compliance and excursion will reach extremely loud levels with much less power than most users would expect. Practice safe sound.
