Key Features

4 Channel bridgeable amplifier 480 watts - Pioneer GM-A4604

Untitled Document

Inspired By Excellence

Pioneer is constantly finding ways to make amplifier technology better. Our new and improved GM-Series prove how you can add cutting edge technology and more power to your system without breaking the bank. Like all Pioneer products, these amps are fully tested to ensure that each is designed and built for performance.

Higher Power

Having more power isn't just about LOUD. It's also about CLEAN, getting the most out of your speakers and your music. Constant road noise makes it hard for the music to be heard clearly. But with 480 watts max. power, you'll get to hear all the words and all the notes.

Variable LPF/HPF

Variable LPF (low-pass filter) and HPF (high-pass filter) allow for adjustable frequency between 40 Hz to 500 Hz and greater car audio system flexibility according to subwoofer characteristics and personal listening preferences. The GM-A4604 has a variable LPF/HPF on Ch. B and fixed LPF/HPF on Ch. A.

High Capacity Switching Power Supply

To suppress power supply loss, GM-Series amplifiers incorporate a large toroidal transformer and are driven using a high-speed switching MOSFET. This stabilization of power supply maintains stable playback of all types of music.

Gain Control

What is power without control? To accommodate the varying range of signal levels coming from today's factory and aftermarket radios, all of Pioneer's GM-series amplifiers feature adjustable gain controls. This means that no matter what kind of radio is connected to this amplifier, the appropriate gain control adjustment can be made to ensure loud, clear, distortion-free music. And even if the gain control level is set improperly, Pioneer's Gain Control Caution feature will automatically reduce the amplifier's output until the headunit volume is decreased to acceptable levels. This added layer of protection helps to prevent damage from occurring to the amplifier and the speakers connected to it due to improper gain control adjustments.

Bringing The System Together

What, you DON'T own a Pioneer headunit? Well, we won't hold it against you. In fact we'll even help you build onto your system. The GM-A4604's speaker level inputs allow you to connect your OEM unit (or any unit that doesn't have the typical RCA-type inputs) without having to buy add-on adapters. SO, the install goes faster, you save money, and you've got a Pioneer amp in your vehicle.

phil on 28/10/2015 5 star rating

hi i'm phil the manager at manchester store, noticed no one has put a review about this amp so thought i'd let you know my opinion on it this is a faily basic amp ideal for someone after a bit extra volume in the car and improved quality, it is a faily low power amp but i don't look at power figures alone, its how the amp delivers the power that can make or break a system just because an amp is high power does not mean it will sound good, i have fitted this amp in several cars with differnt speakers it handles best with low-mid range speakers, i find it lacks the power for high end so usually fit the gm-d8604 for high end speakers but back to this the amp in quite compact so easy to hide, if your worried about wieght this amp is less than a bag of sugar The settings are basic, perfect for someone just getting into car audio and not sure what to do settings wise i would personally run 2 channels full range and use the other 2 on hpf but thats just me good amp for the money and would be a great adition to a starter system
