Speeding past police a ‘wheely’ bad idea

Curtis nan |

It is never a good idea to speed, we know this.

We would also suggest that it is never a good idea to speed past a police car.

So, what about speeding past a police car on only three wheels. Yes, THREE wheels.

No, this wasn’t a three-wheeler or a trike, this was a NORMAL car, a Renault Clio in fact, it was simply missing that crucial fourth wheel.

Quite how the driver managed to go so fast for so long is beyond us but he managed for long enough to zoom past police at 65mph on the A4136 in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.

Gloucestershire Constabulary said officers attempted to stop the black vehicle last week (Dec 6th) due to the “manner of driving”.

Well, yes, we can see why it might have caught the eye officers!

A helicopter and dog unit were used to track down the culprits, who were eventually detained in Cinderford.
