Description
Self-adhesive, very light thermo-acoustic mat made of foamed polyethylene with refining additives, being one of the most efficient materials for thermal and acoustic isolation of the car's cabin. CTK TermoFix foam mats are soft, flexible and easy to install on surfaces with a flat or complex shape.
They are intended mainly for use inside vehicles, as thermal barriers that prevent excessive heating or cooling of the vehicle interior and as very effective acoustic barriers insulating the cabin from mechanical noises (road noise from wheels, from the engine, etc.). Thanks to its oil and water-repellent properties, TempoFix foams are widely used and can be attached to most of the body elements, eg on the floor, roof, behind plastic panels, at the wheel arches, inside the boot lid and inside the door chambers.
The specific structure and resistance to moisture make the TempoFix foam mats perform perfectly under car coverings as an effective material blocking the entry of traffic noise into the cab. In order to achieve the best effect, where possible, it is recommended to use two layers of CTK TempoFix 4 foam together with self-adhesive butyl aluminium mats to suppress vibrations and resonance of the substrate (TempoFix 4 foam should be applied to the metal body parts that were previously used dampened with aluminium-anti-vibration mat). that TempoFix foam mats perform very well under car coverings as an effective material blocking the entry of traffic noise into the cab.
