Mono Block 2400watts Class D amplifier with bass remote - Pioneer GM-D9701

Pioneer’s new extra-efficient Class-D digital amplifiers mark a dramatic improvement in power output capability, yet are 50% smaller than the current GM-Series Class-AB amplifiers. That makes them more versatile in terms of installation as well as performance.

To prevent circuit shutdown, Pioneer’s new digital amplifier circuit “Protection Control System” senses its internal temperature and automatically moderates input level accordingly. Stable, durable circuitry lessens the risk of high input power for the unit to achieve 1 Ω connection. This design enhances the flexibility to connect multiple subwoofers to a system.

For extra flexibility, a variable LPF makes audio frequency more adjustable according to subwoofer characteristics and personal listening preferences. The GM-D9701 LPF is adjustable from 40 Hz to 240 Hz.

Every new Pioneer Class-D amplifier has a wired bass boost remote control for optimal bass level adjustment according to listening preferences and music characteristics.

What, you DON’T own a Pioneer headunit? Well, we won’t hold it against you. In fact we’ll even help you build onto your system. The GM-D9701’s speaker level inputs allow you to connect your OEM unit (or any unit that doesn’t have the typical RCA-type inputs) without having to buy add-on adapters. So, the install goes faster, you save money, and you’ve got a Pioneer amp in your vehicle.

Returned after 7 days. Because the low end was crap. I though it was a faulty amp so I got a replacement. Replacement sounds just as crap. Returning for a refund. Will buy the IPA2001D on payday

Need more bass

The inphase amp deal with kenwood sub, would the amp run in bridge mode? Or is a better 1 ch amp on offer. Looking to buy online but need good deal. Already run 0 guage from battery and power gain switch and quality rca leads.

  • Question: 15 October 2020
Car: Hyundai Genesis Coupe - 2010>

I'm getting a single RF T1 12" 800 rms (in sealed enclosure) available in both 2 or 4 dvc. Should I get the exact matching sub with 800 rms and run it @2 ohm or should I get the 1 ohm load?

The Pioneer RMS wise will handle both but will struggle to keep cool and may overheat. Go for the IPA9701D and run it at 1 ohm.

    Car: Toyota Corolla - 2009>

hi, i have 2 infinity kappa subwoofer 1200w, with 2000w peak and 500rms with switchable 2 - 4 ohms, when i am in 2ohms for an unknown reason the sound keeps stopping, but in 4ohms all good, why ?

The amp might not be able able to cope with the stress of the two subs with. Also, you cannot switch from 2-4 ohm impedance unless you change the load of the amp.

The GM-D9701s aren't that good for multiple subs at that sort of power. You are better off using something like the In Phase IPA2001D.

Hi would this power 2 pioneer champion series 400w rms many thanks

This amp may be okay but I would use the IPA2001D for better and more effcient perfomance.
